Heard of the Moov tracker? This bright gem in the sea of activity trackers stands out as a raw diamond that has made tremendous improvement since its release. The company is preparing to release a version 2 of their successful crowd funded Moov Classic tracker in the fall of 2015 and I’ve already pre-ordered. The new tracker is aptly named Moov Now.
The Moov Classic, while conceptually ingenious and brought something new to the table, couldn’t actually qualify as a 24/7 tracker. The Moov company increased the number of functions tracked to eventually include running, swimming, cycling, boxing, sleeping, 7 minutes workouts, voice guided coaching and even connection to 3rd party bluetooth heart rate monitors. That being said, the Moov Classic was a chunky device to strap on; definitely not something I’m proud to wear. I should know since I was an original contributor.
If the Moov Classic was a classic beetle that worked tirelessly, the new Moov Now is a souped up F1 vehicle. With all the data amassed over the past year, the company is able to dole out even more precise and intelligent workout analysis, enhancing the user experience in the Moov Now tracker. The new Moov Now tracker does everything the Moov Classic does, only with more style, better battery life and a slicker appearance.
