All checked. Water-resistant to 50m and running on a user replaceable batteries that lasts, get ready for this, one whole year. With every hour or inactivity, a red bar on the screen will increase in length till its full; time to get up and move. Vivofit can also sync with a ANT+ heart rate monitor bands to offer accurate caloric expenditure from physical activities.
Users can also connect wirelessly to Garmin Connect, a free online fitness community, where more detailed analysis of the tracked data is available. Garmin Connect can be accessed from computer or select mobile devices with the Garmin Connect mobile app.
Vívofit will be available in black, purple, teal, blue and slate and both small and large sizes come in the box. Vívofit will begin shipping Q1 2014 and have a retail price of $129.99 and $169.99 (heart rate monitor bundle).
