ASUS ZenWatch 2

By Michael S • June 3, 2015 • News

ASUS just announced their second Android Wear partnership with Google in the form of the ASUS ZenWatch 2. There is an obvious difference in bezel size between the first generation ZenWatch and the ZenWatch 2. Also buyers can now customise the look of the ZenWatch 2 based on two sizes, three stainless-steel case colors, and 18 different strap material and color combinations.

The presence of a metal watch crown inevitably draws comparison with Apple Watch’s digital crown while customisation of the aesthetics follows in the footsteps of the Moto 360 smartwatch.

There are a few original yet notable features. The remote camera function seemingly offers faster performance, more range, the ability to switch between the phone’s front and rear cameras, and zoom capability. Also the next generation Wellness app collates the data tracked by the ASUS ZenWatch 2 into attractive graphs for analysis and future goal setting.
