The Fossil Q line is the apparel and accessory designer’s efforts at fashion connected wearable tech. In total, 4 products were announced, a show of Fossil’s efforts to cater to the differing needs in the market. The Fossil Q line includes:
Fossil Q Dreamer
Q Reveler and Q Dreamer: These two smart bracelets function nearly identically save for some differences in aesthetics implementation. One of the key feature is that both wearables house Fossil’s Q Activity which is essentially an inbuilt activity tracker that monitors your daily step count and calories burned. The Fossil Q Activity is compatible with Google Fit, Apple Health, UP by Jawbone and UA Record by Under Armour, so you’re free to stay on your current fitness platforms.
The other key feature is the smart notifications alerts. Coupled with vibrations, the LEDs on the side of both werables can light up in different colours to notify the user about alerts from contacts or mobile apps.
The strap bands are interchangeable so you can reflect your mood for the week in style. Fossil’s Q Reveler and Q Dreamer are already available and cost $125.
Fossil Q Grant
Q Grant: This ordinary looking analog watch is engineered with Intel Innovation while retaining Fossils’ classic case and chronograph movement with premium materials such as brushed steel and leather. The Q Grant functions like the Q Reveler and Q Dreamer, the main difference is a more tested and proven look in the form of a watch. The Fossil Q Grant is currently available and cost from $175-$195 depending on the model selected.

Fossil has announced the availability of 3 their fashion connected accessories while the 4th, an Android Wear device called Q Founder, remains shrouded in mystery. Q Founder will be available just in time for the holiday shopping season and starts at $275.
